Masaomi Yabe (Masa)

Chef Masa was born and raised in Tokyo, home of the Edomae style of sushi. Masa started his career at authentic Japanese cuisine restaurants around Tokyo before moving to Irvine to pursue his dream of opening his own business. After training and working at the sushi restaurant "Taiko" for a decade, he now opened his own sushi restaurant called "Kizuna".
